New Tony Christie album

Following and featuring the northern soul floor-filler Nobody In The World, Tony Christie's latest album is his best to date.

Produced by friend, fan and one time collaborator, Richard Barrett, from The All Seeing Eye and song writer Michael Ward, the album brings together the sound of classic soul, British beat and film soundtracks with sonically fresh and powerful production.

‘Get Christie’, a  tongue in cheek re-work of the iconic theme from Get Carter, features lyrics from the pen of Jarvis Cocker. Another collaboration on the album comes in the form of a duet with Roisin Murphy of Moloko fame.

Tony Christie then
The title track ‘Now’s The Time!’ shows Christie in a light that we haven’t seen since his iconic single 'Avenues And Alleyways'. Fast, punchy and feet-friendly, this tune will make you smile.

Tony Christie now.
And he's looking just as sharp now as he did back then.

Out now on Acid Jazz Records.
