Hot on the heels from supporting The Stereophonics and the success of the debut seven, The Broken Vinyl Club’s second single, the non-album track Diamonds In Her Eyes is dense with 60s blues riffs and nods towards the trendy-set rock of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and sixties garage greats The Shadows Of Night.
The flip side I Want You Girl is taken from the eponymous debut album, a collection of 12 songs full of melodic charm and skillful harmonies. The Welsh answer to The Hoodoo Gurus and Airhead, wrapped up as one perfect beat-band, have been busy showing off their live swagger to audiences all over Europe and building an ever increasing fan base keen on hearing their modern take on a retro feel.
